Alaska Fishing Report 06/03/11

Our anglers showed up this morning ready to go around 5 am and we headed out to the Deshka River to conquer some King Salmon.

We got a small 8 pounder right off, but it was released in hopes for a bigger catch. After about 30 minutes of fishing, we starting hooking and landing these great fish.

The first 4 fish that were landed, were caught from the boat and towards the end of the trip, we thought the fish had stopped biting.

After motoring over to the cleaning tables, the 2 anglers that did not get their fish decided to throw some bait and see what hey could come up with.
1 of the 2 anglers were successful at landing a nice King Salmon from the cleaning dock.

The fish ranged from 24-31 pounds and were shiny silver like a brand new bumper on a car.
