Alaska Fishing Report 05/28/11



We met 2 groups this morning down at the Little Susitna Public Use Facility Launch. Ray's group had a very lucky 7 year old from North Pole, Alaska who hooked this 10 pound King Salmon. It was her first King Salmon, and for being only 7, she did a pretty good job. She had a battle with this fish for 10-15 minutes and WON!!!  




Our other group was guided by Mike. This fish was caught within the first 10 minutes into the trip. This fish put up a great fight. 10 minutes of reeling, finally got this chrome bright fish.


We also saw alot moose on the water. Here is one leaving the river as it saw us. But the 2 moose calves, you can barely see, weren't following her. Here she is looking down at them trying to coax them up on the bank of the river.
