Alaska Fishing Report 05/18/11

Mostly cloudy in the morning then becoming partly cloudy. Highs around 60.
Today we had 2 anglers start fishing this morning at 6 am with Ray.
They saw a few King Salmon rolling in holes, but were not able to get them to bite.
After a couple hours of back trolling down the Little Susitna River, we got a hit.
Our angler, Odon, hooked onto a King Salmon, and caught him by surprise.
He was on the fish for 10 minutes, got it to the boat and
HARVEST!!!
It was 26 lbs.
The clouds were coming and going bring the temps up and down 15-20 degrees.
We saw a dozen moose with 1-3 day old calves.
And the Bald Eagles were soaring proud all over.
